Chocolate hazelnut goodness – gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free
If you don’t like brownies then we can’t be friends… Ok we can still be friends but full disclosure I think you’re a little weird, brownies are life!
I remember diving spoon first into the nutella jar as a kid, the combination of hazelnuts and chocolate is pure genius – thank you to the Italians for creating this divine spread! I just wish they went a little lighter on the sugar, ya feel me??
The good news is that there is no need to worry about the sugar content in these gorgeous chocolate hazelnut brownies. You get all of the flavour in every bite without even needing to turn the oven on!

Hazelnut meal is the star ingredient in this recipe, I buy from my local wholefoods store but you can also find in the baking isle of the supermarket or blend up hazelnuts to make your own.

Low sugar, gluten free, dairy free, rawsome goodness, LET’S GO!
- 3/4 cup hazelnut meal
- 1/3 cup desiccated coconut
- 1/4 cup chocolate protein powder
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp stevia
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 30g smooth runny peanut butter
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 70g dark chocolate
Melt chocolate with coconut oil and peanut butter, mix until smooth.
Add maple syrup, stevia, salt, coconut, cocoa powder, protein powder and hazelnut meal and mix well.
Distribute between 6 silicone muffin moulds or paper cases and set in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
