Baked Apple Pie Oats

Ok this is one of my best recipes yet!  Inspired by Botanika Blends protein powder this baked oats recipe is totally channelling a warm baked apple pie with vanilla ice cream ?. This is my absolute favourite of their protein flavours so far, this recipe had me craving more, more, more!!!

Now, you can definitely add some grated apple to the mix before baking if you like??I just didn’t have an apple handy, so I left it out.

This recipe makes 2 serves, you can store the other serve in the fridge and enjoy the following day. 

Ingredients:-

• 1/2 cup oats

• 1 x serve apple pie flavoured protein powder

• 1/2 tsp baking powder

• 2 x egg white

• 1/4 cup almond milk

• 1 tbsp stevia

• 3 x dates chopped into small pieces and/or shredded apple

– Mix everything in a bowl, except date pieces.

– Stir through dates/apple.

– Split evenly in a muffin pan (I made 2 servings)

– Bake for 20mins at 175degrees or until edges are slightly golden.

– Allow to cool slightly.

– Serve with a drizzle of maple syrup/honey and vanilla yoghurt.

You can definitely bake this in advance and store for later, because let’s be real, who has time to bake before work?? You can also double the recipe to make 4 x serves – you won’t regret making this!
